WKPP’s School Feeding Programme feeds close to 600 students to date!

Today, WKPP celebrates the feeding of close to 600 students daily through its School Feeding Programme. Established in 2017, the programme is an annual initiative implemented to promote that a balanced diet and maintaining a healthy lifestyle for our children is crucial. WKPP understands that proper nutrition is important from the earliest stage in life and, therefore, recognizes the need to facilitate the process of ensuring that students receive nutritious breakfast meals.

The programme also serves to enlighten the parents and teachers from each school. JEP wants them to understand that proper nutrition is fundamental for children to function at an optimum level. With this programme, every child will receive the nutrients required for them to excel. We will also ensure that the head chefs prepare nutritious meals using foods enriched with vitamins and minerals that will enhance neurological function, increase energy levels and improve concentration levels; all of which are key for academic success.

This year, WKPP seeks to collaborate with entities to expand our school feeding efforts and extend the programme to other schools within our social impact area.
