Residents of WKPP’s neighbouring communities also positively impacted lives through their community labour day projects. Projects included waste removal and general beautification around the communities. Representatives from Hannah Town also refurbished the room of an elderly disabled man. WKPP encourages these types of projects annually and will continue to promote infrastructural and environmental preservation across the division.

JEP to Install Greenhouse at Old Harbour Primary School

JEP celebrates the installation of its second greenhouse in the St Catherine area!
This year, Old Harbour Bay Primary School will receive a greenhouse, which serves to supplement the school’s nutrition programme and increase awareness among the students and teachers regarding the benefits of this technology.

The organic produce from this greenhouse will not only benefit the primary school but also the basic schools within the Old Harbour Bay community.

The construction is set to conclude in July 2019.

Blackwood Gardens Basic School Sports Day

Annually, JEP supports the Blackwood Gardens Basic School Sports Day so that students can enjoy various sporting and learning activities. It also gives students the opportunity to have fun and interact with their peers outside the classroom.
