JEP/WKPP Read Across Jamaica Day: JAD representatives read storybooks in braille to students

Jamaica Energy Partners and West Kingston Power Partners, in association with visually impaired representatives from the Jamaica Society for the Blind (JSB), visited Old Harbour Bay Primary School and North Street Primary School, to engage the students in reading activities in honour of Read Across Jamaica Day.

As part of the activities, JEP and WKPP also donated age-appropriate books to the students of North Street Primary, Old Harbour Bay Primary, St Wade’s Basic and Prophecy Basic schools.
At both North Street Primary School and Old Harbour Bay Primary schools, the representatives from JSB led the reading of braille storybooks to students. JEP and WKPP employees also read to students from Grades one to six.
