JEP and WKPP collaborate with schools to commemorate National Tree Planting Day

Annually, JEP/WKPP employees take time out to participate in tree planting exercises to improve the island’s natural biodiversity, and to reduce carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from the air. Since 2011, both companies have planted over 1000 trees at the Holywell Recreational Park. This year, we donated trees to the following schools:

Old Harbour Bay Primary School
St.

Andrew Technical High School
Spring

Village All-Age School
Tivoli Gardens High School
JEP/WKPP staff visited Old Harbour Bay Primary and St. Andrew Technical High School on Friday, Oct. 5, for a brief “Plant Hour” to assist the students and teachers with planting these trees.
